Kirsten Dunst receives the Best Actress award for "Melancholia" at the 64th Cannes Festival

Kirsten Dunst receives the Best Actress award for her role in Lars Von Trier's film "Melancholia" during the closing ceremony of the 64th Cannes Film Festival on 22nd May 2011

Kirsten Dunst won Best Actress for her performance in Lars von Trier's Melancholia.

She thanked the Festival for allowing the film to carry on competing even though its director has been declared "persona non grata." Source: mubi.com
